As an HSE Manager for Offshore Projects, you’ll play a crucial role in upholding high standards for health, safety, and environmental protection across essential offshore infrastructure. Supporting project teams from start to finish, your work will directly contribute to the delivery of major energy transition projects across Europe.


In this position, you’ll:

  • Be the go-to HSE advisor in a high-performing, multidisciplinary offshore programme.

  • Maintain high safety benchmarks on technically complex projects with large-scale impact.

  • Collaborate with leading experts and deepen your knowledge of forward-thinking HSE practices.

  • Play an active role in developing sustainable and secure offshore energy infrastructure


Key Responsibilities

  • Tendering & Contracting: Assist in tender processes, prepare safety documentation, and contribute to contract evaluations.

  • HSE Oversight: Plan and conduct independent HSE monitoring across various sub-projects.

  • Site Safety Strategy: Set out safety requirements, define reporting structures, and plan emergency protocols for offshore work.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Represent HSE matters both internally and externally, serving as the main contact for safety-related queries.

  • Risk & Compliance: Lead regular HSE audits, identify deviations, and coordinate effective corrective measures.

  • Team Support: Offer technical guidance to fellow HSE professionals involved in the projects.

  • HSE Concept Development: Create project-specific strategies tailored to identified risk scenarios.

  • Supplier Integration: Support onboarding of suppliers to align with HSE processes and expectations.

  • Reporting: Produce clear and structured reports on safety performance and project compliance.


What You Bring

  • A degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil), or Nautical Sciences.

  • Ideally certified in:

    • Occupational Safety (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)

    • Safety and Health Coordination (SiGeKo under BaustellV)

  • Hands-on experience in HSE, ideally in offshore or large-scale infrastructure environments.

  • Familiarity with offshore safety procedures, including HAZID and HAZOP.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented approach.

  • Comfortable with travel across various project locations.

  • Confident using MS Office tools.

  • A valid EU driving licence.

  • Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (B2).
