Risk Manager - Clean Energy Investments

PACE is supporting a leading European clean energy investment platform in the appointment of a Risk Manager to join its Investment & Fund Risk team.

Our client invests across renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure assets, including wind, solar and energy storage, and manages a diversified portfolio across Europe.

With continued capital deployment and an active investment pipeline, they are seeking a commercially minded risk professional to support independent oversight across both asset and fund level activities.

The Role

This position sits within the independent risk function and works closely with the investment team across the full lifecycle of infrastructure investments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting independent risk assessments of renewable energy investments
• Supporting investment decision-making through structured risk analysis
• Preparing materials for investment and governance committees
• Monitoring asset and portfolio risk exposures
• Contributing to periodic fund and portfolio reporting
• Engaging with portfolio management, compliance and external advisors

This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and direct involvement in high-value infrastructure transactions.

Your Profile

We are keen to speak with professionals who have:

• 4–8+ years’ experience in investment risk, portfolio risk, infrastructure risk or real assets
• Experience within asset management, infrastructure funds, private equity, banking or investment platforms
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
• A solid understanding of renewable energy or infrastructure investments
• The confidence to challenge and influence senior investment professionals

Experience within regulated fund environments is advantageous but not essential.
