About the Company

Our client is looking for a M&A Analyst who are fast-growing renewable energy. The company specialises in originating, acquiring, and building solar, wind, and storage assets. Their team combines strong financial expertise with deep sector knowledge to execute high-impact transactions and long-term sustainable growth.


The Role

We are seeking a driven and analytical M&A Analyst to join the Frankfurt-based team. This role will support the full transaction lifecycle — from opportunity screening and valuation to due diligence and execution — across a diverse pipeline of renewable energy assets. The ideal candidate will bring excellent modelling skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for the energy transition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support M&A transactions through financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct detailed market, sector, and commercial research to assess investment opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment papers, presentations, and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, working with technical, legal, and financial advisors.
  • Analyse project economics, regulatory frameworks, and key risk factors across European markets.
  • Maintain accurate databases, deal tracking, and internal reporting tools.
  • Support internal approvals and maintain strong documentation throughout the deal process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, development, and asset management.


About You

  • 2-4 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking, or similar.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with excellent Excel proficiency.
  • Understanding of project finance and/or renewable energy markets highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare clear, concise presentations.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
