Senior Project Manager

Are you a Project Manager with a passion for innovation and sustainability? One of our clients in Germany is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead their Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) initiatives. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, particularly within the energy or environmental sectors. A proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget is essential. In addition, experience with CCUS technologies or related fields will be highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver CCUS projects from inception to completion
• Developing and managing project plans, budgets, and schedules
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Identifying and mitigating project risks
• Reporting on project progress and performance to senior management

Essential skills and experience:

• A degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• At least 8 years of project management experience, with a focus on energy or environmental projects
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
