Senior M&A Associate

PACE is supporting a leading renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the appointment of a Senior M&A Associate to join its growing team in Warsaw.

Our client is actively developing, acquiring and operating renewable energy assets across Europe. As investment activity continues to expand, they are looking to strengthen their M&A function with an experienced transaction professional to support the execution of strategic acquisitions and investments.

The Role

As a Senior M&A Associate, you'll play a key role in the evaluation and execution of renewable energy transactions, working closely with investment, development and leadership teams across the full deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the origination, evaluation and execution of renewable energy acquisitions and investments
• Building and reviewing financial models, valuations and investment analysis
• Managing due diligence processes alongside internal teams and external advisers
• Preparing investment committee materials and transaction recommendations
• Coordinating with legal, financial and technical advisers throughout live transactions
• Supporting negotiations and transaction execution through to completion
• Monitoring market activity and identifying new investment opportunities

This role offers exposure to high value transactions and the opportunity to work across a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets.

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with professionals who have:

• Experience within M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity or infrastructure investments
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Experience supporting or leading transaction processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in renewable energy and the energy transition

Previous experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or power markets would be advantageous but is not essential.
