HSE Manager

We are looking for a HSE Manager in the Netherlands, focusing on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) projects. This is a chance to play a key role in the sustainable energy revolution, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld at a critical time for the industry.

Commencing in June, this 12+ month contract offers the chance to immerse oneself in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The position demands a meticulous and proactive individual who can oversee comprehensive HSE programs, drive safety culture, and ensure compliance with both local and international regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of HSE regulations and a proven track record in managing HSE within the solar PV or related renewable energy sectors. A fluency in Dutch is essential to effectively communicate and engage with local teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing HSE policies and programs.

- Conducting risk assessments and enforcing preventative measures.

- Reviewing existing policies and measures and updating according to legislation.

- Initiating and organizing HSE training of employees and executives.

- Inspecting equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.

Required skills and experience:

- Relevant HSE qualifications.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken.
