Tom Akers

I joined PACE in early 2023 after several years working in the construction and social housing sectors, but have always had an interest in climate change, what we as a society can do to reverse its effects, and conservation. 

PACE represented the perfect opportunity to apply what I’d learnt over the years in order to have an influence on the pursuit of a better world.

My love of conservation comes from an early obsession with wildlife and David Attenborough documentaries. To this day I love finding out about animals and wildernesses I’ve never heard of. My favourite animal at the moment is the Binturong!
